Job Description
What You'll Do
Work 1-on-1 with high school students to build their skills and confidence for the SAT or ACT — all sessions held in private offices at our facility.
Why Coaches Love This Role
Predictable schedule — recurring weekly sessions within hours you set, no scrambling for last-minute clients
No commuting between homes — every session happens in-office
You focus on teaching — we handle scheduling, materials, and prep so you're not building lessons from scratch
Paid onboarding — paid training and shadowing with experienced coaches before you're on your own
A team that has your back — supportive, collaborative coworkers who are genuinely invested in student outcomes
Room to grow — sharpen your teaching, mentoring, and communication skills, with real opportunities to advance
What We're Looking For
Strong grasp of AP-level content in at least 2 core subjects (math, science, English, etc.)
A knack for explaining tricky concepts clearly and adjusting your approach to different learning styles
Genuine enjoyment of mentoring teens and helping them build confidence, not just content mastery
Currently enrolled in or graduated from a 4-year university
Available 15+ hours/week, including at least 4 hours on Sundays
Available within our session windows: Mon–Fri 3:00–9:30pm, Sun 10:00am–6:00pm
